What is the difference between the quoted price and the filled price of a trade?
The quoted price of a trade is the price available in the market when you received your quote. The filled price is the actual execution price at trade time. There is often a small gap between the two due to price movement in the market in the moments between quote time and execution time. Spot protects you from poorly priced trades by limiting the allowed size of this gap.
Why are my trades failing?
At times of high price movement, there is an increased likelihood of transaction failures occurring due to large gaps between the quote price and fill price. Please note that meme coins are extremely volatile, and while Spot makes every effort to avoid trade failures this can occasionally happen. If many of your trades are failing, please reach out to support.
Can I view past trades that I have made?
Yes, check your history in the app to view all trades, account funding actions and token transfers made on the platform, including any fees paid and amounts spent.
My favorite meme coin lost all of it’s value, what do I do now?
Some meme coins can increase in value 1000x and others can lose all value and become unavailable to trade. Be aware that meme coins with low liquidity or low market caps are more risky than others. If a meme coin you bought lost all value, there’s not that much that can be done. This is why we recommend users to never trade more than they are prepared to lose!
